About Me
I am a Data Scientist at Airtel with a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. My work focuses on designing, developing, and deploying machine learning solutions that solve large-scale business problems, with expertise spanning the complete ML lifecycle, from model development and optimization to production deployment and monitoring. At Airtel, I have worked on developing credit risk models using deep neural network (DNN) architectures as an alternative to traditional tree-based approaches, building scalable model monitoring frameworks to track model health and detect performance degradation, and developing hyperparameter optimization packages to accelerate experimentation and improve model performance. My background combines industry experience with a strong research foundation in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Generative AI. Throughout my academic and personal projects, I have benchmarked deep learning models for image-based disease detection, fine-tuned transformer models such as BERT for Question Answering and Named Entity Recognition, implemented recommendation systems, and worked on Vision Transformers, object detection, semantic segmentation, and generative models. I enjoy translating cutting-edge AI research into practical, production-ready solutions.
